ABOUT ANGEL ARUTURA (she/her)

Angel Arutura is a multifaceted creative at the intersection of activism, education, and wellness, renowned for her impactful work as a speaker, content creator, and advocate for racial equity and climate justice. Her journey began in June 2020, during the Black Lives Matter protests in Northern Ireland, where she emerged as a prominent voice championing the cause of racial equality. Over the past four years, she has dedicated herself to making climate and social justice education accessible through a compelling blend of research, storytelling, and creative expression. 

As a content creator, Angel has crafted an impressive social profile, collaborating with esteemed brands and engaging with many organisations to inspire people to drive positive societal change. Her influence has been recognised through accolades, including being named one of the Irish Times' "50 young people to Watch in 2021: the best young talent in Ireland" and earning a spot in the GUAP Blacklist 30 under 30 and Belfast Telegraph NI’s 30 Under 30. 

Beyond her advocacy, Angel is a passionate cold-water swimmer, promoting the importance of connecting with nature for mental and physical well-being as well as fuelling the fight for climate justice.
